Multiple Sclerosis: improving foot and toe control (reducing foot drop!) From minimal movement to dorsiflexion in one session! Drop foot is one of the most common symptoms we work with in the clinic - it can be incredibly impactful to walking, ability to use stairs, and general stability, with many people we work with describing increased falls after foot drop developed. This often leads people to begin using a walking aid as their fear and risk of a fall increases. At first, Ian only had movement in 1 toe - he struggled to get any activation in his other toes and couldn’t lift his foot voluntarily. Luke works on Ian’s connection and control in the toes and foot - before the end of the session Ian is able to replicate the movement WITHOUT electric!
