APEXNEURO

MS NEUROREHAB PROGRAMME

"WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE THE FEELINGS I HAVE FOR THE RESULTS THEY ACHIEVED FOR ME (AND FOR MY WIFE, DAUGHTERS, SON AND GRANDSON). RESULTS WILDLY EXCEEDING THE CURRENT BOUNDARIES OF NHS TREATMENTS FOR MS. YOU ARE DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE."

"'HAVE A PLAN B' WAS THE ADVICE GIVEN AND 'BE READY FOR A WHEELCHAIR'. AS THE PPMS PROGRESSED I WAS LOSING THE ABILITY TO WALK. I BOOKED A WEEK INTENSIVE AND THE TEAM SHOWED ME WHAT WAS POSSIBLE. NOW MY WALKING PATTERN IS NEARLY BACK TO NORMAL AND THE SPASTIC PARAPARESIS IS GONE! APEX NEURO HAVE FOUND A WAY TO REVERSE DAMAGE THAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD FOR YEARS WAS IRREVERSIBLE."

Our MS neurorehab programme is suitable for individuals across the full spectrum of multiple sclerosis. We work with clients experiencing a wide range of symptoms and mobility challenges, including:

  • Those who have lost the ability to walk and rely on mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers.

  • Individuals with moderate mobility impairments who may use canes or other assistive devices.

  • People experiencing milder symptoms like drop foot or balance issues (often this is not 'true' balance issues, but a result of reduced brain-body communication.

  • Clients in the early stages of MS who want to proactively maintain their function and mobility.

  • Clients who have lost strength and muscle.

HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?

Many of our clients with MS have been told there is ‘nothing that can be done’ and the best they can hope for is to remain stable. We strongly disagree (and have a huge amount of evidence to back up why we feel this way, which you can see on our Instagram).

Our perspective stems from consistently observing clients regain function and mobility, something many healthcare providers consider unattainable.

While traditional approaches often focus on managing decline, we leverage advanced rehabilitation technologies and a unique methodology to push boundaries and achieve results that defy conventional expectations, offering hope and tangible progress to those living with MS.

OUR APPROACH

Many existing MS programmes focus primarily on disease management, overlooking the potential for neurological improvement (often driven by lack of belief that this is possible). Instead, we take a technology-driven approach that addresses the core issues - the demyelination and disruption of neural pathways.

Our programme places a strong emphasis on promoting neuroplasticity and enhancing brain-body communication. Through the use of advanced technologies, we are able to stimulate and support the natural processes of neural repair and adaptation. This approach aims to improve signal transmission along affected neural pathways, potentially restoring functions that were thought to be permanently lost. Please note, although we are often able to restore functions, we (to our knowledge) are not effecting the disease state, and therefore relapses can be possible.

HOW OUR PROGRAMME WORKS

Our MS programme begins with a comprehensive consultation, allowing us to learn more about your history, symptoms and hopes for working together, while giving you chance to ask questions and learn about our approach.

Unlike many programmes, we also do not ask clients to be away from home for months at a time, for good reasons:

  • Being away from home for long periods adds significant strain to the individual and family, we want to minimise stress to improve outcomes.

  • Long stays are often costly, or require being hospitalised.

  • We simply do not need the same duration to achieve results.

We offer a Remote Support Programme to bridge the gap between intensives and help clients maintain progress. For more information on this please contact us.

Intensive programme durations vary from 2 to 10 day intensives (or weekly sessions for local clients).

As MS is a degenerative condition, you will need to consider working with us on the long term, but we aim to minimise appointments to only what is necessary, and in small 'doses'.  After the first intensive, as needed, clients return for subsequent (often shorter) intensives. If you experience a relapse or progression of the condition, it is normal to need to revisit us.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

"The minute I met the team I knew I was somewhere special. With their expertise, technology and attitude they achieve outcomes that seem impossible. Having PPMS, I'm often told by health professionals that my mobility with continue to decline and the best I can hope for is to remain stable. But the team showed by I can regain mobility. They treated me like an athlete, not a patient. I went to APEX NEURO for 5 days and my mobility improved more in that time than I thought possible. I was able to lift my legs and feel the sensation of walking normally, something I haven't done in years."

"Words cannot describe the feelings I have for the results they achieved for me (and for my wife, daughters, son and grandson). Results wildly exceeding the current boundaries of NHS treatments for MS. You are doing the impossible."

"Two sessions brought me back from the abyss - increased strength in my legs and improved walking - the opposite to the outlook given by my Neurologist!"

"I went to work and only used the crutch to walk from the car. I didn't use it all day at the office and found myself actually wanting to walk. I was so excited to show everyone the improvements and they couldn't believe I was walking around the office unaided! The other amazing improvement is I managed to drive a car a short distance yesterday. That's something I've not been able to do since last July and even then I had difficulty. For the first time in 18 months I feel hopeful that I can improve and I actually want to do things again."

"I want to thank you for an amazing five days. I can't believe the improvement. I went to the shops yesterday and didn't even take my walking stick."

"I was so surprised at how much I could physically do and I have come home full of hope and determination. You are a brilliant team, I feel so lucky to have found people who truly care and have shown me that I don't have to accept decline in mobility and function. There is a different way."

"I was not expecting to see results this quickly... I'm blown away. I can't wait to be back."

"I cannot find the words to express how grateful I am. Even if the path ahead is going to be long, at least you've proven that it exists and the hope of a better future it brings with it is tremendous."
