STROKE & TIA
Unlike many Stroke rehab programmes, our approach is suitable and we have proven success working with Stroke (including TIAs) that occurred ANY length of time ago. Traditional time frames for recovery do not apply with our method.

Our approach has proven benefits across the spectrum of Stroke symptoms:

-
Standing, walking, weight bearing and gait.
-
Loss of muscle activity.
-
Loss of sensation, including heat and pain perception.
-
Facial muscle movement including smiling, forming words, eating and drinking.
-
Voice and speech changes.
-
Under-active muscles, loss of strength and lack of muscle recruitment.
-
Breathing changes and diaphragm function.
-
Drop foot.
-
Reduced circulation.
-
Pain.
-
Limited range of motion.
-
Impaired dexterity, fine motor skills and grip.
BREAKING THE TIMELINE BARRIER IN STROKE RECOVERY
Traditional rehabilitation approaches operate under the assumption that significant recovery happen within the first 3 months after a stroke. Many of our clients come to us after being told their recovery window has closed or they've "plateaued."
We fundamentally reject this limitation and do not believe recovery has an 'expiration date'.
Our innovative neurological rehabilitation programme demonstrates time and time again that meaningful recovery is possible far beyond the conventional 3-month window. Our approach harnesses the brain's remarkable capacity for adaptation and repair at any stage post-stroke.
OUR APPROACH
Using cutting-edge neurorehabilitation technologies, we are able to directly improve brain-body communication. Our stroke recovery programme employs advanced, science-backed technologies that work at multiple levels to restore and strengthen function after stroke, including speech and facial muscle function, walking, drop foot and mobility, breathing (full list of symptoms we work with on this page).
Direct Current Stimulation
We utilise specialised electrical stimulation technologies that mimic brain-body signals, creating change at the nervous system level. This innovative approach helps strengthen neural pathways disrupted by stroke, allowing regain of function that traditional therapies often fail to restore.
Photobiomodulation Therapy - Low-Level Laser:
-
Neuroprotective: protects brain cells
-
Reduces inflammation in stroke-affected brain tissue
-
Minimises oxidative stress that can impede recovery
-
Stimulating cellular repair and nerve regeneration

HOW OUR PROGRAMME WORKS
New clients undergo a comprehensive phone consultation with our Clinic Director, giving you chance to ask questions and learn about our approach.
Eligible clients will be offered an an in-person assessment to assess responses and fit for programme. We will then tailor the subsequent appointments to you.
Unlike many programmes, we do not ask clients to be away from home for months at a time, for good reasons:
-
Being away from home for long periods adds significant strain to the individual and family, we want to minimise stress to improve outcomes.
-
Long stays are often costly, or require being hospitalised.
-
We simply do not need the same duration to achieve results.
We offer a Remote Support Programme to bridge the gap between intensives and help clients maintain progress. For more information on this please contact us.
Intensive programme durations vary from 2 to 10 day intensives (or weekly sessions for local clients).
