Alyssa (Functional Neurological Disorder) began our FND programme on the 24th May 2024 and had 11 appointments (22hrs total). Alyssa began with us using a wheelchair, unable to walk or hold objects, with daily seizures, and by 14th September had 'graduated' our programme with full function restored, no longer having seizures and no longer in pain "Rob and Sarah (APEX), you saved me! When it comes to thanking you, I don't even know where to begin! From the initial first appointment absolutely terrified, sitting in a wheelchair in my pyjamas and unable to simply hold a spoon, to where we are now... finding every excuse to go for family meals and days out! You have gone out of your way to always make me feel at ease, comfort me through each stage of the journey and believe in me! Every session has been filled with laughter, of course happy tears, unreal progression and so much encouragement!
