Transverse Myelitis: Real World Rehab After working on Nikita’s balance and muscle control in the controlled environment of the clinic, Luke takes her outside into the ‘real world’ to practice navigating daily obstacles - changes in surfaces, tripping hazards, uneven stairs, distractions etc.

We believe in ‘full spectrum’ rehab wherever possible, not just staying in the clinic where the floors are flat, there are limited distractions and things feel ‘safe’ but testing the boundaries out in the real world!
