Multiple Sclerosis - Hands & Dexterity, Reducing Spasticity
Jocelyn travelled from France to work with APEX NEURO, with his family to help with translation and taking on board all the information Laura is sharing. Jocelyn experiences significant spasticity, including in his arms and hands, which limit his grip and ability to open-close the hand. Hand spasticity and reduced dexterity are symptoms we see often.
You can see after some work, with the electrical stimulation helping to reduce the restrictive spasticity, Jocelyn is able to open the hand with more speed and fluidity. This is a really important movement for daily life for gripping items and fine motor skills.
