“I’ve always been fiercely independent, it’s nice to have that feeling of control” - the emotional moment Beth feels she is regaining control after years of decline with Multiple Sclerosis, complete with a few happy tears. Erin coached Beth through the mechanics of sit to stand and you can see the moment where it starts to click, and how happy Beth is that she managed it - and can feel all her muscles. This is a common experience for our MS clients, the moment where they start to feel in control of their body again after years of progressive difficulty and disconnection.
