What’s possible in 1 hour of rehab with Multiple Sclerosis?
It’s hard to imagine how, with a condition that you’re told time after time improvement is hard/impossible, progress like this in ONE hour is possible — Gillian goes from being supported by electrical stimulation (helping her brain and body to communicate more effective) to walking WITHOUT ANY AID with improved gait, power and stability. It helps greatly that Gillian is VERY coachable - she is willing to do the work needed, challenge herself and takes on board all the guidance (this has continued since she left us and began working remotely).
We cannot emphasis how much mindset influences the speed of our results! Rob has spent some time prior to this video helping Gillian control her muscles more effectively, including a lot of work on the muscles for power and stability, and drop foot. By laying this foundation, Rob and Gillian can make strides (literally) in terms of progress across the span of an hour. If you, or a loved one with MS has been told progress and improvement isn’t possible, show them our videos — we categorically disagree and have thousands of hours of evidence to back up our belief that change IS possible.
