“Friends, family and I have noticed a huge difference in my mobility. A trip to the hospital for an MRI around 6 months ago was me needing a wheel chair as the walk was too long and I was exhausted, but yesterday I managed to do this without holding on to my mum and today I was able to walk again unaided around Glasgow.”

Multiple Sclerosis from using walking sticks to walking independently: Laura and Rhyiza are focusing on getting her weight into a more stable position, eye position, and how to change her movement so she is able to generate more power as she learns to walk independently again.

Notice that most of this work is done without electric - we made amazing progress in just a few days improving the brain-body communication so that we could move to walking independently without relying on the e-stim. In the space of just a few days, Laura and Rhyiza improved her ability to control and use her muscles, began walking independently and started training in the gym to begin rebuilding strength and muscle.

We couldn’t be prouder of her hard work, progress and defying the odds for MS!
