Learning to stand: Multiple Sclerosis (progress update)

Judy previously achieved standing independently for the first time (see her excitement on the first clip!) Now the foundations are built, Luke and Judy progress to no help from the electricity - this is all Judy’s body!

We don’t want our clients to depend on the devices we use. They act as a tool to achieve a better foundation (improving the communication between the brain and body) but at a certain point we transition to working without help.

Luke and Judy focus on increasing the strength, stability, fluidity and confidence, correcting Judy’s tendency to lean to one side (her MS affects one side of her body more than the other), breaking down old patterns and re-building the power needed to drive herself up as she stands.
